A fresh take on Hair

Robert Medina

I’m Robert Medina Proud owner and master stylist of Midori Salon. My passion and curiosity for the art of cutting hair started at a young age. In seventh grade I received my first pair of clippers that Christmas. This led to a path of cutting my own hair and friends and family.

I since have developed into a master stylist by learning all the latest trends in cutting, styling, color, keratin treatments, and much more.

In 2000 I was privileged to be hired at Kabuki, one of the leading salons in Vineland. I was blessed to be an assistant under one of the best stylist/Owners Philip and Catherine Hanaoka whom were remarkably inspiring. I also had the privilege to work and study under Tommy Murakami who has influenced my career as well. At Kabuki they accepted me as family and I will always be grateful of that. Because of them I wouldn’t be where I am today. Philip was not only my boss; he was my mentor and great friend. I now have the privilege to take those skills and help others beginning in the industry.

I am also the proud father of my son Brandon Medina. He is currently serving in the US Air Force and I couldn’t be more pleased how driven he is to always strive for more. On my days off I enjoy renovations, creating artistry with my hands, golfing and fishing with friends, and all things outdoors.

In March 2022 I started renovations at 1406 N. Main Road in Vineland, NJ. Currently owning Midori Salon has exceeded my expectations and I am completely grateful. The salon is Now fresh, bright, clean, and full of life! I want people to come in and feel comfortable, relaxed,and enjoy their experience.

Tracy Senseman

A master stylist of 32 years and a national educator and platform artist for 30 years for John Paul Mitchell systems. I have a passion for education and sharing knowledge to keep up with today’s trends and making people feel and look beautiful. I am certified in all things color (balayage, foliage, corrective color, dimensional color, etc.), haircutting, enhanced texture and keratin treatment, long and short hairstyling. I also hold a certificate in “Eyes on Cancer” for the beauty/wellness profession. My love for education and people carries on into my life every day. On my days off you’ll find me at the gym coaching cross fit/group fitness classes. Keeping active and educated is my inspiration.

After 42 yrs in the cosmetology industry my fierce passion for my career remains unchanged. As a master stylist, my skills shine the most in hair cutting, especially dry hair cutting and coloring. I continue to invest in my career, as I have for many years - going to workshops, hands on hair cutting classes and customer service seminars.

This simple quote guides each experience I create for those in my chair: "Your client will not remember what you did, but they will remember how you made them feel".

Toniann Girimonte

Hello! My name is Toniann. I have been a Hair Stylist for over 20 years and now enjoy being able to greet everyone that visits Midori Salon. I have been in the salon industry for over 20 years. I graduated from Rizzieri Institute and worked for Frederic Fekkai in NYC for numerous years before moving back to NJ. I was also an Educator for Sebastian Professional traveling the United States. When at the salon I enjoy achieving a relaxing and effortless experience for our guests. I look forward to seeing you soon!

Sierra Carter

As a Salon Assistant I enjoy giving customers a scalp massage and shampoo while waiting for their Hair Stylist. It’s a pleasure to greet guests when they arrive and give them a welcome drink, as well. My goal is one day is to become an advanced Hair Stylist/Colorist. I enjoy every day learning and growing with the team at Midori Salon.

Gianna Girimonte
